Crystal Day
"Crystal healing is
one of the oldest holistic remedies and I'd always wondered
how stones could sort out your soul. I go into a spiritual
shop, Mysteries in Covent Garden, London, and learn that
crystals work as conductors of healing energy. they're
sold separately, so you can choose the ones most beneficial
to you. I opt for six stones, including blue calcite to
'dissolve pain' and tigers eye to 'lift you up'.
Back at home, laying the blue calcite between my eyes
I feel an intense uncomfortable pressure. It takes about
10 minutes to subside, but then I try to relax and clear
my mind.
How do I Feel?
I emerge with an agonizing headache, but apparently
grotty symptoms are normal as 'the bad energy is coming
out and new energy is flowing in'. And, lo and behold,
two days.
Later my thoughts are clearer, I’m more rational
and prone to bursting into tears.
A quite accurate reflection
on a first experience we hope that readers that are
interested in crystal healing and reiki are not duly
concerned by this as it is a quite common reaction,
it was then great to read that the following few day
brought about a change in Jo's well being.
Vibration
day
I
invite my friends round for drinks and wait until everyone's
had a few Pinots before I attempt to impress them with
my holistic Tibetan Bowl. The bowl, which works by striking
the rim and stirring the handle around it (Like you do
with your finger on a glass). The idea is an old shamanic
one, that the vibration in the bowl will synchronise with
your 'brain waves' and soothe problems such as stress,
insomnia and depression. I love the idea, but it's not
easy. It takes about 10 attempts of striking and stirring
until I get so much as a whirr... and then it happens.
The sound is deep, soothing and eerily calming, and once
you get a rhythm going you can continue for hours. My
friends are all mightily impressed and much fun is had
trying it out for themselves. I think ive found a new
vocation in life. How
do I Feel
Much calmer. Sound healing is great because you become
hypnotised by the vibrations and all worries and thoughts
in your brain shut down, Wonder if it will go own well
on the bus.
Again
a great summary of a first experience of a tricky item
to perfect Jo showed great determination and found pleasing
almost meditative results.

Jo
goes on in her article to mention such items
as Smudge Sticks, Surge of Chi Exerciser, Lifeways Sleep
Patches and Moor Mud some of these items got mixed results,
but it must have been quite an intense experiment to gain
equal benefit from all these disparate elements in the
space of one week.
We would like to thank the team at TOP SANTE for all their
work and decision to take the subject matter to the mainstream
with such openmindedness and integrity.
Special thanks must go to Jo Upcraft and her excellent
and informative article Keep it up and feel the benefits.
